I am so excited to show the room that I have been working on for my sister, whom by the way lives an hour and a half away. I was able to see the size of the room because she took photos for me.
She and my brother in law got the changing table and baby bed as gifts from our parents. So she picked that out and she told me she wanted me to do the rest. She had told me she wanted green and black for the bedding. I gave her green and a little black . I decided to let the black bed and changing table pop on it own.
I added new knobs from Hobby Lobby to give the changing table a new look. I got them 50% off.
This was a closet before. The room needed more space. I ask my sister to measure to see if the changing table would fit into the closet and it did . To her surprise I ask her to remove the door and take out the shelf. Now we have made the room much larger. There was an outlet on the other side of the closet in the hall way and Poppy was able to make an outlet in the closet because it had no power. I added a wonderful print also from Hobby Lobby and a lamp from Target. My favorite is the antique find I found to work as a mobile and I added a few extra crystals to that.
Love the little shelf from Marshall's which is holding the Pale Pink gown that my sister was brought home from the hospital in. Bird cage wall art is from Michael's. I love this lamp from Home Goods. I hot glued a flower to it to give a little special touch. This is a beautiful Wardrobe my sister found over a year ago at Goodwill. I painted it and added new knobs and it is perfect.
Another wonderful find is this larger mirror, again from Goodwill. I also painted this.
What a cozy little corner. Extra bedding fabric worked as a runner. Picture frames because you can never have too many photos. A great spot to sit.
I had an old globe from my boys room that I painted "You are my World" on to add a little something different to the room.
This is one of my favorites...the mobile. A tree branch from my yard with little felt flowers and stars hanging on fishing line.
Table I found at goodwill and repainted it. Great find. Frames and lamp are from Hobby Lobby.
I love this chair found at a consignment store. I t was painted orange and I loved this color works well in the room and the Daddy is a Vols fan. Added a pillow and throw both from Target.
This bedding is beautiful. Stacey Turner made this and did a wonderful job. I went to Fabric and Fringe and picked out 4 different fabrics. I sent a photo to Paige and she said OK
The curtains are from Target and is the rug. Haven't told here anything about the room are that we were coming down. It was a huge secret.

I had made and collect photo props for the couples to use in photos. They loved this for the group shot.
