I have found that I would love my kids to love the way WE  DECORATE for Christmas. I try very hard to use items they like , things that are special to them at the age they are now. With this desire Christmas decor changes year after year. The kids are very in to going hunting now and this year Thacker found my mechanical deer I had bought 16 years ago and  I hadn't put them out in years. He put it where he wanted it to be displayed and from there the idea to decorate with brown and red came to life. I told them that area of our house is the reindeer room.

As anyone could guess we have way to much candy left after Halloween with 4 kids going trick or treating, so the kids give it to a candy display. They help me divide up the candy that looks like something we could decorate a Ginger Bread House with. Then we make a place to display the candy and our cooking elf and Santa. Every year we decorate houses, trains, gingerbread men and most of the supplies will come from their Halloween candy.

Our tree in the den that has become the home of elves that visit us through the Count down to Christmas. It  is such a delight. WE all agree that this is our favorite room of the house being very small and cozy and all the elves come here. We call it the elf room where we have an elf tree. The colors are all new and fun. Pinks and blues and red and green. Every morning the kids run into to see if a new elf  has arrived on the the tree. Boo keeps his toy train under this tree as well. Because of Boo we now truly enjoy trains and consider them a must have at Christmas.

OUR Family is truly a Christmas Crew. We Kicked of the decorating season On November 2nd. I decorated my Mother's office, then on the 6th we all went to my Mothers house to decorate her 10ft tree. The kids are so happy and love this time of year. We are huge fans of the Christmas Elves. WE have decorated our home and 2 trees. WE went a saw a play at our local High School of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Huge hit.
